THE WAITERS
Except for Betina, all these guys are based on the waiters in my local café La Maison. I spent so much time in there I see them at all times of the day, be it rushing around during lunch hour, tidying up or having a sneaky cigarette break. In fact some of my paintings are framed and are on permanent display in the café. Most people like them but I hope it is a coincidence Thierry has since gone on an intense diet, lost half his body weight and shaved his beard!
